This policy describes how the 1Muslim iOS application handles your data. It supersedes all previous versions.

1. Summary

1Muslim is built to respect your privacy:

No identifying information is collected. We do not collect or store names, emails, phone numbers, account identifiers, advertising IDs, or any device identifier that can be linked to you.
No third-party advertising or analytics SDKs are bundled. Earlier versions used Google Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, and Unity Ads — all have been removed.
No cross-app tracking. The App Tracking Transparency prompt is not shown because the app does not track you across apps or websites.
No push notifications. All prayer-time alerts are scheduled locally on your device by iOS. No push token is registered with Apple Push Notification service.
Apple StoreKit is the only payment processor for in-app subscriptions. We never see your card details.
Donations are processed by an external partner; see Section 4.

2. What the app does on-device

The following happens only on your device and is never transmitted to us:

prayer-time and Qibla calculations from your location;
local notification scheduling;
subscription / purchase status checks via Apple's Transaction.currentEntitlements API;
preferences (theme, language, alarm sounds, custom prayer adjustments).

3. What leaves your device

We operate the 1muslimapp.com domain. Server-side access logs are kept transiently for operational purposes only; we do not build user profiles from them, and there are no per-user records to link, query, or delete.

4. Third-party services you may interact with

The app links out to or embeds a few external services. When you choose to use them, their own policies apply — not this one.

Apple StoreKit (in-app subscriptions and the legacy lifetime products counter, selectedCities, saharaTheme, serenityTheme, languages). Apple's privacy policy: apple.com/legal/privacy.
Apple iCloud / CloudKit. If you have iCloud enabled, the app stores your subscription flag, city selections, and prayer-time adjustments in your private iCloud container. We have no access; only you, signed in to your Apple ID, can read it.
Sadaka donation page at 1muslim.shookru.com — operated by Shookru, an independent third party. If you tap "Donate" the app either (a) opens that page in Safari or (b) presents it inside an in-app web view. Any information you choose to enter on that page (donation amount, payment details, etc.) is collected by Shookru, not by us. Shookru's privacy policy applies.
Apple Maps — opened when you tap "Find mosques nearby." Apple Maps' policies apply.
Apple App Store — opened for ratings, sharing, and managing subscriptions.
Telegram, Instagram, WhatsApp, Apple websites — opened only if you tap the corresponding link in the app.

5. Permissions you may grant

Location (while in use) — for prayer-time calculation, Qibla direction, and finding nearby mosques.
Siri — if you opt in to voice queries for prayer times.

We do not request access to your microphone, camera, contacts, calendar, health data, Bluetooth, motion, or tracking identifier. Each permission can be revoked at any time in iOS Settings.

6. Diagnostics

The app does not integrate any third-party crash reporter or analytics SDK. If you have iOS-level analytics enabled (Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements), iOS may share anonymous, aggregated crash and performance data with us via App Store Connect, in accordance with Apple's policies. You can disable this in iOS Settings at any time.

7. Children's privacy

The app contains no personal-account creation, so we do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. Your rights

Because we collect no personally identifying information, there is no per-user record on our servers to access, correct, port, or delete. If you believe this is incorrect or have a question, contact us at the address below and we will respond within 30 days.

If you wish to remove all locally stored data, deleting the app from your device removes all on-device preferences. iCloud-synced data is governed by your Apple account — you can manage it in iOS Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Manage Storage.

For data you may have submitted to Shookru through the donation page, contact Shookru directly via their website.

9. International use

The app is available worldwide. Network requests to our servers may cross international borders. By using the app, you consent to that processing.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy materially, the "Last updated" date at the top will change and, where required, we will notify you in-app. Your continued use of the app after a change constitutes acceptance.
